TECHNOLOGICAL BACKGROUND

Babcock has developed a solid technology for manufacture of valves with high added value during 40 years. The original agreements with technological leaders were followed by the development of our own engineering practices, following the main codes and standards, studying client specifications and applying advanced design tools.

Basic technology:

  • 1970-1982: anchor darling (USA), westinghouse (USA) & triangle (UK)
  • From 1983: own technical development (BWE)
  • Ball valves (2002): walthon weir pacific (Spain)

Basic standards:

  • ASME, TRD, DIN, BS, AWWA, API.
