Babcock Valves’ designs are based on advanced computer simulations, that minimizes the possibility of design lacks and deficiencies that would affect to the product expected standards.

 3-D designs
 Gate valve 3-d design The use of computer aid design during the designing process, allow us to test and make simulations of our new products, adding a higher reliability in projects execution.
 Heat transfer analysis
 Heat transfer analysis Heat transfer analysis in the design of finned valves for frozen seal, with calculations of:

  • temperature variation results
  • temperatura-lenght chart. design
  • heat stress calculations (to avoid plastic deformation)
 Flow simulations

TESTING

All our products are tested during the design phase and after assembly, prior of being shipped away. Some of our test concern to cryogenics testing, hot cycles testing, vibration on multiple axis testing, aging testing, flow pressure testing, seismic resistance testing, valves hammer-impact testing, actuators testing and others.
